Kathryn Kuhlman

I’ve just added a new page to the site. I’m currently reading Kathryn Kuhlmans Daughter of Destiny. It’s basically telling the story of who Kathryn Kuhlman really is. Not full of fancy and frilly little stories, but of the reality of a woman anointed by God to fulfil a vision and destiny with which she had to make many sacrifices.

People say they want an anointing like Kathryne Kuhlman, but what they probably don’t know is what that anointing cost her. Would these same people still want that anointing if they had to make the same sacrifices Miss Kuhlman did? This is the person of who she was and this is what is wonderful about her, not the anointing God put on her life, the anointing is God himself using her as a vessel, the anointing is not Kathryne Kuhlman the person.

It was of course a wonderful anointing, but if we look and judge a person by the annointing on their lives, then we are looking at the person rather than looking at God. You could say, the person is the one who is underneath the annointing. Fix your eyes on Jesus people, not the man/woman.

Infact, if you give the man/woman the glory because of the annointing on their life, then you are jeopardising that annointing, because God will not give His glory to another. God will honour the person who obeys Him, but will not share His glory with them, so remember who the annointing comes from and love and respect the person who has made the sacrifices in their lives to be used by God which has enabled God to give such an annointing.

We learn from them, not only by their preaching and how they are used by God, but we also learn from them by their lives. They are people who have humbled themselves before God, their heart is for God and they want to see God’s purposes fulfilled. The anointing just comes as a part of them in submission to God and being obedient to Him.

Praise God for these people, love them, pray for them and bless them, but don’t mix them up with Jesus.

Glory to God!
